Bio:

Bob has worked full time in the outdoor adventure industry since 2004 as a river guide, expedition leader, operations manager, and educator. Although Bob has worked on some of the best and most challenging rivers in the world, the most fulfilling aspect of his career has been working as an educator. His passion for teaching led Bob to his current faculty position in the Adventure Studies Department at Thompson Rivers University where he teaches classroom courses on the adventure and adventure tourism industries and field courses in swift water rescue, kayaking, wilderness first aid, and rafting. Bob also coordinates the whitewater kayaking and wilderness first aid programs at TRU. When he is not teaching in the field or in the classroom, Bob enjoys exploring the wild rivers and mountains of beautiful British Columbia.
